MAIL!

So, the Konks have told us that we’re getting mail!
They’ve received letters from our parents, and (if we’re real good, what a laugh), we’ll be getting them really soon.
I can’t wait to hear what Mum and Dad have been doing – it’s like a TV show, where you get one episode, and then you have to wait ages for the next one!
I want to write to tell, and tell them all the crazy things I’ve gotten up to recently. I better not tell them about the laptop though. They wouldn’t approve. ; )
Kite is supposed to be getting some European candy from his uncle, so we’re all excited!

Mail time is also kind of sad, because Nics never receives any. It really gets to her. She’s an orphan. Her first memory is a hospital room, when she was eleven. She can’t remember ANYTHING before that. Isn’t that creepy?
So, the centre is her entire life. She’s particularly bad this time. Apparently, she broke down and cried about it to Dr Jennings. She was really embarrassed afterwards.
We never know what to do, to console her, or cheer her up. We tell her we are her family! That doesn’t cut it for her though.
