Brain Challange!

So, as you all know, I am excitedly trying out all the different opportunities the internet has offered me, and my latest idea, is an audioblog.
Unfortunately, I was stupid enough to voice my latest idea to Tom A!
Of course, he thinks it’s a bad idea, too dangerous, what if they find it, yahdayahdayahda.
Tom A! The Konks don’t go around listening to video blogs! They are probably more unlikely to find it than this blog!
But of course, Tom A wouldn’t listen. No matter how many times I told him I AM OLD ENOUGH TO LOOK OUT FOR MYSELF.
So, I did the only sensible thing.
I brain challenged him.
What is a brain challenge?
Well it’s really simple.
It is twenty questions.
They can be anything, or about anything, from geography, to puzzles.
We each have twenty for hours to write the answers, and we’re not allowed to look them up, or ask for help.
The person with the most correct answers wins.
BUT, obviously, neither Tom A, or I can write the brain challenge.
So, I was wondering if you all might be able to.
If you can, can you email a copy of the questions to me, and one to Tom A. I made him make a gmail address, especially for this:
TomAtheCatA@gmail.com
But try and pick questions that it’s possible Tom A and I might possibly know, or can work out. Otherwise, we’ll get zero-zero, and have to do it again.
If Tom A wins, then I don’t make an audioblog.
BUT, if I win, he has to be in my audioblog with me >-).
Thanks!

Kite is Hooked!

Kite has been using the internet on the sly!
I had a late class yesterday, and I came back, and he was mucking around on audacity.
It didn't take me long to find this (he left it open):
http://www.myspace.com/kiteleon
As well as being mean to me, he likes to make music in his free time.
Isn't that sweet?
Kite's guitar is really weird looking. He made himself, out of the head-boards of all our beds, a couple of years ago, because the Konks wouldn't buy him one. Since then he's made it sound a lot better.
It's great that I'm not the only one enjoying our new found virtual freedom!

Close Call!

Almost got busted today. Me, Kite, and Tom A were in our room, minding our own business.
Suddenly, Nics, who had a class late, came in. But who was following her? Dr Jennings! He'd come to look at an essay she'd written, or something.
Anyway, I was on the internet, (of course), and I didn't hear them walk into the room. Before I know it, Tom A is standing in front of me, and saying that I wasn't there! I knew enough to go along with him. Well, it was lucky Jennings walked straight to Nics' bed, because otherwise, we would have all been in deep.
After Jenning's left, Tom A yelled at me a bit. It didn't bother me. He's a nice guy, but he takes things too seriously. He said that if I kept the laptop, I should at least hide it under his bed. That way, if they found it, he would get in trouble. He's in the Konks goodbooks at the moment, (Tom A – Golden Tom) but I'm not.
I'm not, because I climbed up the niches in a wall in one of the class rooms, and took down the security camera, for Kite. He wanted to see how it worked. You'll never guess how the Konks decided to "punish" me. No desert! What, do they think I'm five? Sorry to whoever cooks, but their apple bake no longer has the power to control my behavior.

My First Web Blog Entry!

An internet connection for the first time in my life appeared out of the blue, only six days ago. I don't know how long it will be around, so I think I better make the most of it, even if the others don't. In honour of my (to be) short lived virtual freedom, I am starting a webblog. Real contact, with real people, outside the centre!

So, why do I have this sudden opportunity?

Well, Dr Toke was giving me some boring lecture about West vs East, the rise of Islamic fundamentalism, blah, blah, blah, and anyway, he had to look up some guy, so as usual, he pulls out his laptop. I didn't know this at the time, but it must have a wireless internet connection. I don't know why didn't work that out sooner - did I think that all the information he looks up was filed away on his hard disk?

Anyway, much to my complete delight, old Toke left it on the table when he went at the end of that class. I waited about ten minutes, to see if he would come back and get it, but he must have forgotten that he used it. So, I took it back to our sleep room. I thought it would be a great joke you know, poking around in Toke's files. But, then I found out he had an internet connection!
I've been on his laptop every spare moment since.

No one else seems as interested in it as me. Tom A said that we should give it back, because we'll get in trouble, but I managed to convince him that they'll never find it. A lie of course. I know they will. But I don't care. It's worth it. Don't you think so?
